A Day in the Warehouse with the P30——What It's Like and What I learned
Two-way Radio
I've heard that the poc radios of P30 is the perfect push to talk radio for working in a warehouse. Then this conversation between me and our product manager started:
"Why is the P30 poc radio perfect for a warehouse?"
He replied, "You should go check it out for yourself."
I said, "Really? I'll go!"
He quickly added, "Just kidding."
But I insist. "I'll go. Seriously, I just have a friend working there."
Then I blurted out, "Give me 10 sets of P30," and before anyone could respond, I was already running off to contact my friend and get everything ready. I couldn't wait to explore!!
That's exactly how my day with nationwide walkie talkie P30 in warehouse starts. This powerful little network radio offers push-to-talk over cellular, international communication over 2G, 3G or 4G LTE. Where the signal reaches, that's the radio's range. Let's have a real experience with it.
What About the Warehouse?
The warehouse itself is a well-organized, comprehensive facility, clearly divided by both function and product type. There's a popular goods section for fast-moving items, an area for unsalable stock, and dedicated zones for different categories—like one just for hardware accessories. They are all labeled with numbers.
From an operational side, everything runs smoothly. There are designated spaces for loading, unloading, forklifts, returns, and even loss-reporting. Whether it's small parts or large packages ready for shipping, this place has it all under control.
As for how they keep in touch? Mostly of the time, people use wechat (a popular Chinese messaging app) ,or give a phone call, even yelling across the floor to ask for help.

What Did I Do?
The weather is scorching here in Shenzhen, and I drove about an hour to reach the warehouse. I brought along 10 sets of the P30 radios with SIM card already inserted to make sure the whole team could stay connected while we were on site.
I spent the whole day with the loading team, helping move goods and load deliveries into the trucks. Since the SIM cards were already inserted, setting things up was easy. All I needed to do was create a few groups and get the right people connected. One person can join multiple groups, which makes coordination a lot easier. I ended up setting up three groups: loading team, truck drivers, and unloading team. I created three invite codes on my device and shared with them so each member could join the right group.
I also walked them through how to create and manage their own groups, so next time, they can handle it themselves. The setup on my end took less than a minute—but training the whole team took about half an hour.
As everyting is done, I stayed in touch with all the teams—drivers, the unloading crew, and our own loading team, along with a few office staff. Everyone needed to stay in constant communication, so I was talking to different groups across the warehouse. Two things happening impressed me a lot.
The first thing was that one of the guys was moving some heavy stuff and accidentally twisted his ankle. He couldn't call out loud, but he managed to press the PTT button on his P30, and within seconds, someone from one of our standby groups rushed over to help.He gave the two-way radio a thumbs-up and appreciate team members' fast response.
Another thing I noticed during the day was how important battery life is. Everything went pretty smoothly, but I did run into one issue—low battery on my device.
I had grabbed my own P30 instead of taking one from the company batch, and honestly, I forgot to charge it before heading out. Luckily, it still held on until the end of my shift. I was really relieved it lasted.
After the whole day, when I was collecting the devices back from the team, everyone looked really happy. They told me the walkie-talkies weren't just helpful—they actually made the day more fun. A few of them smiled and said, “Thanks, Claire! If we had these next time, no more shouting across the floor!” Everyone laughed out loud.
It felt good to know the P30 really made a difference.
How P30 Worked Out Well?
After spending a full day here, I was so impressed that I went back to our website to dig deeper into what the P30 can really do. That's when I realized just how smart this little device is—from its clear audio to group communication features and long-lasting battery life. It's built to keep things running smoothly, even in fast-paced and noisy environments like this warehouse.

Here is a conclusion of 3 things I love most about the P30:
Purpose-built design: tough, clear audio, and talk easily via PTT even with gloves.
Create or join a team in 5 seconds: efficient and fast during work.
Multiple standby groups: you're never out of touch, even across teams.
