Slough, UK – May 11, 2026 – Hytera, a leading global provider of critical communications technologies and solutions, participated in The Security Event (TSE) 2026, held at the NEC Birmingham on April 28–30, showcasing a new generation of mission-critical communication products and solutions designed to help security teams meet evolving security demands, improve operational efficiency and enable rapid security response when needed.
Driven by its mission to Innovate for a Safer World, Hytera demonstrated how its product and solution portfolio - professional radios, Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) devices, body-worn cameras, and managed services - supports the sector with communication technologies that address modern security challenges, empower fast decision-making during incident, and secure the capture of critical evidence.
Across the three-day exhibition, visitors explored Hytera’s latest devices and solutions designed for mission-critical communications, in particular:
- PNC660, a 5G mission-critical ruggedized device built for frontline personnel. It features an independent security chip compliant with IC/COS CC EAL5+ standards, supported by multi‑layer security protection, encryption and key management to help safeguard critical operations.
- P50, a compact and easy-to-use, this PoC radio empowers professionals in security and other sectors to communicate clearly and collaborate efficiently. Featuring a professional 9-pin audio connector and a waterproof Type-C port, this IP68-rated PoC radio is built to excel in challenging conditions.
- P60, Hytera’s Smart PoC Radio, combines voice, data and video, integrating PoC and MCX communications on Android 12. Featuring a 3.5‑inch touchscreen, it enables boundary‑free voice and video calls, intuitive controls and true eyes-up operation: with instant video and evidence capture just a swipe away, it helps security professionals stay focused on their mission.
- P50E, a powerful PoC device featuring a purpose-built minimalist display, delivering reliable and efficient communications - making it an excellent fit for security professionals who need fast, uncomplicated operation on shift.
- SC580, a smart 4G body camera that captures high-quality video, audio, and photos. Lightweight and pocket-sized, it is comfortable to wear all day without adding unnecessary burden. It features 120-second pre-event recording and shake-free 1080p video when users are walking or running.
- HALO PTX, a fully managed, cyber-secure Push-to-Talk service designed for mission-critical communications, enabling organisations to deploy wide-area PTT services quickly within existing networks, without the burden of building and maintaining new infrastructure. To support the security sector, HALO PTX introduced HALO PTX Hire during TSE 2026, allowing partners and end users to use devices on a short-term basis – ideal for large events such as music festivals as well as local charity events.
“The Security Event is an important opportunity for Hytera to support the UK security sector with communications that are reliable, secure and efficient,” said Sophia Yin, General Manager of Hytera Europe. “Committed to our mission to Innovate for a Safer World, we showcased our innovative PoC devices - including P50, P50E and P60 and MCX PNC660 - alongside the SC580 body camera and our HALO PTX managed service, helping security teams connect, coordinate and response.”
