Co-located with AfricaCom, Mission Critical Technologies Africa (MCTA) 2019 is Africa’s largest telecoms and technology event, which was held from 12 to 14 in Cape Town, South Africa this November. On the opening day of the event, Mark Zheng, Director of Southern Africa Region of Hytera, was invited to share the insight on The Future of PMR and Unified Communications in South Africa. “The wireless communication industry has been changing dramatically in recent years. Hytera also presented a full range of PMR solution to customers from public safety, energy, transportation, emergency and commercial industries. The products are mainly divided into narrowband network solution, innovative and converged solution and broadband network solution.
Aiming to innovate for smarter and safer cities, Hytera displayed Integrated Command & Control Solution for public safety industry customers. Hytera Integrated Command & Control Solution leverages police daily communication and emergency synchronized command during emergencies, which provides a comprehensive visual and dispatching platform and helps police in work management with professional, rapid and efficient incident taking and handling.
Hytera Emergency Response Solution is a self-contained and quick-response system designed for reliable communication in emergency situations such as mass rallies, natural disaster, and social security. It enables network coverage in remote areas such as mountain and woodland areas, expands network coverage in blind spots such as the subway, tunnel, underground, and provides a robust dynamic broadband link which enables voice, video and data transmission.
By using Hytera DMR & TETRA system, explosion-proof terminals, SCADA system and LTE solution, Hytera provides communication solution and service which cover voice, image, video & IoT services to oil & gas, electric and mining customers from energy industry.
Hytera PoC solution was another highlight during the event. Targeting at public network operators and commercial users, Hytera exhibited C-PoC system, BS architecture dispatch workstation and PoC radios such as PDC550, PNC550 and PNC370. Hytera PoC solution enables multi-media services such as voice, text, picture and video services across regions through local operators 2G/3G/4G and Wi-Fi networks, as well as hierarchical system management and flexible dispatching. It can be equipped with a third-party APP to process customer's routine workflow management and achieve excellent experience.
Hytera's subsidiary Teltronic, also showcased the turnkey integrated solution including TETRA+LTE system infrastructure, Intelligent Control Center, and tailored train born equipment to help customers have “safe, orderly and efficient” urban transport.
