The BBU5801M is the baseband unit of the evolved NodeB (eNB) in the long-term evolution (LTE) system. Based on the 3GPP LTE technology, the BBU5801M processes baseband signals, handling uplink and downlink data traffic and controlling RRU functionality via CPRI (Common Public Radio Interface). The BBU5801M establishes wireless connections with the user equipment (UE), manages wireless resources, and offers high-definition voice and video as well as high-speed data services.
