Since China Southern Airlines' business goes faster and the airline destinations become more than 193, the workload in each airport become heavier and hard to improve the efficiency.
The old analog radio system can not meet the changing business requirement, like short of voice channels, no data service etc. So the requirement of a new digital system which can provide more channels, clear voice, flexible application services, PSTN gateway and good indoor signal coverage became more clear.
