DALAT, VIETNAM – April 1, 2026 – Hytera Communications, a leading global provider of critical communications technologies and solutions, supported the Dalat Ultra Trail 2026, a large-scale, high-altitude sporting event in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. Hytera deployed integrated communications technologies to ensure seamless connectivity and safety for over 7,000 participants throughout the race from March 27 to 29.
The Dalat Ultra Trail, part of the prestigious Vietnam MTB Series, is among the largest and most demanding trail running events in Vietnam. Authorized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong Province, the race features categories extending up to 100 kilometers, traversing complex mountain trails and dense forests where cellular network coverage often falls short, posing significant challenges for event coordination, safety management, and emergency response.
To meet these demands, Hytera implemented a robust communications solution combining its Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) and Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) technologies. P30 PoC radios and BD Series DMR radios connected staff members, security teams, medical teams, and volunteers for instant coordination, while professional DMR Mobile Radio HM788 SFR improved receiver sensitivity and extended coverage across the remote, high-altitude sections of the course.
