Pokhara, Nepal – December 27, 2025 – Hytera Communications, a leading global provider of critical communications technologies and solutions, supported NWC 7 x Contender Series 3 Pokhara, a landmark combat sports event held on December 27 in Pokhara, Nepal. As the Official Professional Communications Technology Provider, Hytera ensured smooth event operations, safety coordination, and live production throughout the competition.
Organized by Nepal Warriors Championship (NWC), Nepal’s premier MMA organization, the event marked several milestones for the local combat sports scene. It was the first NWC competition held in Pokhara and the first time MMA and Muay Thai bouts were staged together at this altitude—bringing international attention to Nepal’s growing sports ecosystem. The event featured 42 fighters from Nepal and overseas, drawing strong engagement from fans and the local community.
To support complex demands of a live, multi-discipline combat sports event, Hytera provided a tailored on-site communications setup. P30 Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) radios were deployed among organizers, volunteers, and broadcast teams to enable instant coordination in a fast-moving environment. In addition, SC580 body cameras were issued to referees, capturing immersive first-person footage that enhanced live broadcasting and offered audiences a closer view of the action.
